TAEKWONDO

Little Lions

This program is designed for kids ages 3-5 years.  Little Lions learn basic curriculum, and develop listening skills, body coordination, and build a foundation for future growth.

Core Foundation Training 

Our traditional core foundation training is meant for all ages (5+) and belt ranks.  Students focus on developing the essential techniques of the discipline of Taekwondo, including proper kicking and punching skills and the fundamentals of both sparring and forms.   A prerequisite for either Sparring or Forms Focus, Core Training prepares students for Taekwondo advancement.

Progression Team Sparring

For our advanced students who would like to focus on sparring training, techniques, and competition.  Building upon their Taekwondo core foundation, students concentrate on developing the skills (including speed, focus, power, discipline, and confidence) needed to compete in Olympic style sport Taekwondo sparring (one-on-one combat).  Teamwork and community, as well as individual progress,  are emphasized. By invitation only.

Progression Team Forms

For students who have completed core foundation training and would like to focus on forms training, techniques, and competition (forms are a set pattern of movements used to enhance body awareness, memorization, and implementation of Taekwondo technique).  Building upon their Taekwondo core foundation, students concentrate on developing the skills (including power, precision, synchronicity, and attention to detail) needed to compete in Taekwondo forms at the highest levels.  Teamwork and community, as well as individual progress,  are emphasized. By invitation only.

Fight Fit!

For those teens and adults who want the fitness, fun, and community of Taekwondo without the commitment to competition.  In this ever-changing combination of kicking, punching, strength training, and playground-type cardio activities, students have a blast sweating and meeting their inner warrior!
